Power Your Property Safely and Efficiently

Your electrical panel is the heart of your power system, distributing electricity throughout your home or business. Upgrading or installing a new panel ensures your system can handle modern energy demands, reducing the risk of overloads, power outages, and fire hazards. At Turn It On Electric, our licensed electricians provide expert panel installations and upgrades to keep your property safe, efficient, and code-compliant.

New Appliance Support

As you add high-power devices like HVAC systems or EV chargers, your panel may struggle to provide enough power. We upgrade panels to meet increased demands and prevent system strain.

Old Fuse Box Still in Use

Homes with outdated fuse boxes face increased fire risks and inefficiencies. Our team replaces these outdated systems with modern, circuit-based panels for improved safety and capacity.

Corroded or Loose Panel Connections

Corrosion or loose components within your panel can lead to power loss, overheating, and dangerous electrical conditions. We inspect and repair these issues to maintain system integrity.

Home Renovations

When remodeling or expanding your home, your current panel may not support the increased electrical load. We upgrade your panel to accommodate additional circuits and prevent overloads.

Frequent Power Fluctuations

If your power supply is unstable, causing devices to turn off or lights to flicker, it may be due to an overloaded or malfunctioning panel. We troubleshoot and upgrade panels to provide consistent, steady power throughout your property.

FAQs

What am I getting out of a panel upgrade?

You’ll be receiving a solar ready panel. This is a panel with upgraded bussing in it, so it can take power coming from your utility provider and solar panels. You’ll also receive whole home surge protection. This means if your home receives a surge, the inside of your home, including your appliances, fixtures, and more, are protected. If your home is affected by a surge or lighting strike, this protector can save you $5,000-$15,000 or more in repairs and damages. You’re also receiving a 20amp GFCI convenience outlet below your panel. All existing breakers will be replaced with new, up-to-code breakers. New panels are more reliable, as all of your breakers are new.  All of our surge suppressors come with a warranty that covers any damage created if the suppressor fails.

Frequent circuit breaker trips, flickering lights, burning smells, or an outdated panel – especially a Zinsco panel – are clear signs that an upgrade is needed to ensure safety and reliability.

If you experience overloaded circuits, use multiple power strips, or plan to add high-power appliances, an electrical assessment can determine if an upgrade is necessary.

An upgrade increases your panel’s amperage capacity (e.g., from 100A to 200A), while a replacement involves installing a new panel to replace an old or faulty one.

Most panel replacements can be done in a day. Our technicians can go over your home or business details to determine how to keep your power on as long as possible and get it back on quickly.
